200 days to go!

There are just 200 days to go until we need to pack and begin the journey across Europe! 200 days to get ourselves ready, prepared and equipped.

There are still many milestones to get through. The Porsche still needs a little welding to repair the rusty bodywork. Following that it’ll be ready to get it’s MOT, which will be a big achievement given it’s been 2017 since the car was last roadworthy.

After that, I’ll be applying the final topcoat of paint, fitting my roofbars, driving lamps, and wiring up my USB charging ports. An oil change is also in order! The wheels will be getting refurbished and new Toyo Tires fitted. We’ll most likely need a few test runs to iron out any further niggles, fingers crossed there aren’t many.

The kit list is starting to come together; roof tent, camping gear, food etc will all need to be sorted. Sounds like I need to make a long list!
